Juan Mogollon (9:00 AM - 11:00 AM):
Juan joined NEA in 2022 as an investor on the technology team, where he focuses on enterprise and consumer investments .
Prior to joining NEA, Juan was an investment banker at Evercore in New York, where he worked on transformative M&A transactions and capital raises for consumer and enterprise technology clients globally. While at Evercore, Juan worked closely on Permira’s purchase of Yogiyo from Delivery Hero and Appriss Insight’s sale to Equifax. Prior to Evercore, he spent time at Bank of America and Marbella Interests.
Juan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. He is proudly Colombian and grew up in Latin and Central America prior to moving to the U.S.
Rajko Radovanovic (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM):
Rajko most enjoys partnering with early-stage founders to work toward bold visions. He focuses on infrastructure, data, AI/ML, developer tools, open-source and community building. He also helps drive initiatives on the usage of alternative data for investment sourcing and diligence.
Prior to joining NEA, Rajko worked at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he advised major enterprise technology companies on their growth strategies and performed strategic diligence of growth-stage technology investments for investors. He was also point for data science and analytics coaching in the San Francisco office and led BCG’s internal thought-leadership study on AI/ML technologies, commercial platforms, and tooling.
Rajko has always enjoyed the natural sciences, competing in mathematics as early as elementary school in Serbia. He graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Economics, minor in Computer Science, and citation in Mandarin. He was a teaching fellow for Harvard’s graduate-level course in Mathematical Optimization Methods. His focus on data began when he discovered the joy of scraping, munging, and visualizing datasets in Beautiful Soup, Pandas, and Seaborn. A couple nights were even spent implementing and tuning Q-learning RL algorithms to beat videos games!
In his free time, Rajko loves traveling and the outdoors. He spent a summer studying Mandarin at the Harvard Beijing Academy. He also co-led Harvard Mountaineering Club expeditions to the French Alps, Italian Dolomites, and Cordillera Blanca in Peru. Nowadays, you can find him hiking in the hills of Marin, kayaking in Sausalito, or climbing in the Sierra Nevada!
Mustafa Neemuchwala (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM):
Mustafa invests in pioneering entrepreneurs across both the early & growth stages. He is especially passionate about infra, developer, cybersecurity, data, AI-powered intelligent applications, sales enablement, fintech, and web3.
Before NEA, Mustafa advised on $55B of tech M&A at Qatalyst Partners. At Qatalyst, Mustafa worked closely with management teams on deals like Segment’s sale to Twilio, Auth0’s sale to Okta, Afterpay’s sale to Square, Intuit’s acquisition of Credit Karma, Hortonworks’ merger with Cloudera, Pluralsight’s sale to Vista, and HotelTonight’s sale to Airbnb.
Growing up in Dallas, Mustafa started coding in elementary school and has been a lifelong developer since. Mustafa graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Business Honors, Finance, & Plan II Honors, with a minor in Mathematics and additional coursework in Computer Science.
